How do I approach sessions?
In our work together, we’ll create space to safely discover the deeper layers of your inner experience—always at a pace that feels right for you. My approach is grounded in awareness, compassion, and connection.
Together, we’ll bring curiosity and acceptance to whatever arises—whether that’s thoughts, emotions, or sensations in your nervous system. By creating a supportive and attuned space, we can begin to face experiences that have felt traumatic, challenging, or difficult. This process eventually leads to a state of being where you naturally feel safe to experience all of who you are, independently.
Through this process, we’ll feel and unpack those experiences together, so that what once felt overwhelming can gradually become non-threatening. Over time, this allows your system to integrate and heal, fostering a greater sense of safety, connection, and resilience.
This work is intuitive, embodied, and deeply collaborative—an invitation to reconnect with yourself and others in an increasingly authentic and grounded way. There is also plenty of room to learn and practice worldly skills like communication, emotional expression and accountabilitiy.
Practically, I work with a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Internal Family Systems, Schema Therapy, Non Violent Commmunication, and Compassion-Focused Therapy and is very inclusive of the entire body. I am trauma informed and spend a lot of time deepening my understanding of complex trauma, family systems and the human heart.
